Felix Rosenqvist wins Assen F3 thriller
Felix Rosenqvist claimed his second win of the season in dramatic fashion when he led the field home in the second ATS Formula 3 Cup race at TT Circuit Assen, the Netherlands. The Swede started from Pole Position for the first time in his short Formula 3 career after having set the fastest three lap times of the event in Friday qualifying, and took the chequered flag as winner of a rain-affected Race 2 after overcoming a pit stop to change for slick tyres.
”It’s great to have taken another victory at Assen,” Felix Rosenqvist says. ”I had actually never driven in the wet during an F3 race weekend before today, but I’ve always enjoyed changeable conditions and felt that we could be in for something good when it began to drizzle before the start. I'm very pleased with this victory", Felix adds.
